Poetic Mind Lab
a place for rewriting
Poetic Mind Labs are beginner-friendly writing circles and storytelling programs that build people up and bring them together with simple techniques and original poem creation. Grounded in creative intelligence and deep care for the state of nature, Labs promote showing up softly - for ourselves and each other - and create space to re-examine and rewrite the rules on what it means to be human.

Why We Do It
The Data Delusion
Since 2013, humanity has accessed unprecedented amounts of information. The tools for individual and community well-being rest perpetually in the palms of our hands.
Yet, we are not flourishing. Chronic illness affects nearly 77% of Americans. Almost 28% of children and adolescents are reported to have a mental, behavioral, or developmental disorder. Healthcare spending topped $4 trillion in 2023 and is expected to rise. These statistics are mirrored in the health of our communities.
The Peer Support Model
Through research, creative and professional expertise, and personal healing experience, we create evidence-based programs that disengage the obstacles between information and application, knowledge and wisdom, surviving and thriving - without force, friction or unreasonable time commitments.
Our programs are not therapy; they are humanity, showing up, together.
Centered expression. Rotating themes. Simple formulas.
In person and online, Poetic Mind Labs guide gentle Self-Seeing© and neuro-knowledge application, culminating in original poem creation. Breath work, somatic practices, and other complementary techniques enrich the experience.
Every Lab is built for beginners. We work with citizens, community organizations, and companies.

A scientist asks:
What is different?
Why?
What could work better?
How can we get there?
Ready to experiment?
